R&R Handmade Boots

This blog documents the collaboration between Shoemaker Ruth Emily Davey and Contemporary Leather Jewellery Designer Rose Wood

We have embarked on a project to design and make a collection of handmade boots that are beautiful, flat and good for your feet. We would like to share our progress as we go through the design process.

 

 The aim of the project is to create bespoke made-to-measure boots that will be available to order. Customers will be able to choose the length of their boot, the fabric to line them, the colour and calf size. Ruth’s ethos is to make long lasting repairable footwear which are flat and foot shaped, leaving enough room for your toes, this will be true of our boots too.
